Why am I sometimes 2 years older in Korean age?
If your birthday has not yet occurred this calendar year, your international age has not incremented yet, but your Korean age already did on January 1st. Combined with the 1-year-at-birth rule, this creates a 2-year gap. After your birthday passes, the gap shrinks to 1 year for the rest of the calendar year.
